Travel Intermediate Care RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide telemetry-focused nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 37 beds and uses Meditech charting. Patient ratios are about 1:6, with 1:4 for heart cath patients.

• Monitor telemetry and patient status
• Administer medications and IV drips
• Care for central lines and chest tubes
• Support heart cath recovery patients
• Assist with bubble studies
• Document care and collaborate with the nursing team

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience
• Strong critical thinking and independent practice skills

• Meditech experience
• NIH stroke scale experience
