Travel Intermediate Care RN in Springfield, MA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for adults in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Massachusetts. The 42-bed unit is split between medical telemetry and step-down care, with 1:3 and 1:6 ratios, and sees COPD exacerbation, DKA, sepsis, PE, and respiratory failure.

• Monitor intermediate care patients
• Assess cardiac and respiratory status
• Administer IV medications and drips
• Support trachs, vents, and BiPAP
• Respond to changes in condition
• Document care and communicate updates

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of intermediate care or acute care experience
• Experience with telemetry, vents, trachs, high-flow nasal cannula, and BiPAP
• Strong assessment and prioritization skills
