Travel Intermediate Care RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide step-down care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The 42-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and is part of a teaching Level II trauma hospital.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythm changes
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assess adults with CHF, AFib RVR, chest pain, and post-MI needs
• Support care before and after cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery
• Manage respiratory support, airway care, and hemodialysis-related needs
• Provide central line, IV, drain, and wound care

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• 1 year of PCU or step-down Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience

• Epidural analgesia
• Renal transplant care
• Seizure disorder experience
• Previous charge experience
