Travel Intermediate Care RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric stepdown patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit uses Epic and serves a teaching, Level II trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and assess stepdown patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage IV therapies, blood products, and insulin protocols
• Care for central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and feeding tubes
• Support respiratory care with oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP, and tracheostomy management
• Coordinate with rapid response and interdisciplinary teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of stepdown or PCU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management skills
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Experience with renal transplant, seizure disorders, skin grafts, TURP, or epidural analgesia
