Travel Intermediate Care RN in Hilo, HI

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care across medical and surgical units in a hospital in Hilo, Hawaii on a 15-week contract. Meditech EMR is used, and patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6.

• Monitor intermediate care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Manage wound vacs, chest tubes, and bedside equipment
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in Meditech EMR
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

• Hawaii Registered Nurse license by start of assignment
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of intermediate care experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC
