Travel Intermediate Care RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a stepdown unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The 42-bed unit uses Epic charting and serves a Level II trauma and teaching setting.

• Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac rhythm changes
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Administer IV medications, insulin and heparin protocols
• Care for patients after cardiac cath, MI and chest pain workups
• Manage oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care
• Provide line, drain, wound and rapid response support

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of stepdown, PCU, DOU or IMC experience
• Epic charting experience
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Renal transplant and seizure disorder experience
• Epidural analgesia, skin graft and TURP experience
