Travel Intermediate Care RN in Florence, SC

A Travel Step Down Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Florence, South Carolina. The 12-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and supports a 1:4 assignment. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Manage central lines, PICCs, peripheral IVs, and phlebotomy tasks
• Support oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway care
• Provide wound care, wound vac care, and isolation precautions
• Respond to rapid response and code team needs
• Support insulin protocols and glucose management

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact license in hand before start
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of ICU or stepdown experience
• Experience with telemetry, IV therapy, central line care, and blood product administration

• NIHSS
• Epic charting experience
• Neuro stepdown, stroke, and dysrhythmia management
• BiPAP, CPAP, and arterial line experience
