Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for medical stepdown patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Cookeville, Tennessee. The unit serves adolescents, adults and geriatrics, averages 21 patients in 24 beds, and uses a 5:1 ratio.

• Assess medical stepdown patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ordered medications and supportive therapies
• Monitor vital signs, labs and cardiopulmonary status
• Coordinate care with respiratory, therapy, pharmacy and rapid response teams
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
