Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for medical stepdown patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cookeville, Tennessee. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a 24-bed setting with a 5:1 ratio and Epic charting.

• Monitor medical stepdown patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Perform focused assessments and document nursing care in Epic
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2 years of intermediate care experience
• Prior travel experience
