Travel Intermediate Care RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide neuro intermediate care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. The unit uses Epic, works at 1:3 ratios, and cares for postoperative and acute neuroscience patients needing close monitoring.

• Perform frequent neurological and hemodynamic assessments
• Manage arterial lines, EVDs, and lumbar drains
• Administer tPA and vasoactive infusions
• Support care for post-op day zero neuro cases and acute thrombectomy patients
• Communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Epic

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3+ years related intermediate care experience
• Experience with arterial lines, EVDs, and lumbar drains
• Basic proficiency with web-based applications
