Travel ED RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 40-bed hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit sees about 145 patients daily, uses Meditech, and works with a 4:1 ratio. It includes trauma level I and II activations, stroke care, pediatric emergencies, and behavioral health crises.

• Triage patients and prioritize emergency care
• Complete nursing assessments and focused reassessments
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Assist with procedural sedation, wound care, and splinting
• Respond to sepsis, stroke, trauma, and behavioral health events
• Monitor vital signs, EKGs, and defibrillation needs

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1-2 years of current acute care emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card

• Trauma level I or II experience
• Meditech experience
