Travel ED RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit sees about 145 patients daily and uses Meditech charting. It manages trauma, stroke, pediatric, and behavioral health emergencies with a 4:1 patient ratio.

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive emergency assessments
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and patient response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Support trauma, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care
• Assist with procedural sedation, wound care, sutures, staples, and splinting
• Collect labs, cultures, and EKGs during urgent care

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1-2 years current acute care emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card

• Trauma level 1 or level 2 emergency department experience
• Meditech experience
