Travel ED RN in Cypress, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Cypress, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 19 beds, uses Meditech charting, and runs 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratios.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Deliver bedside care for acute and unstable conditions
• Monitor cardiac and vital sign changes
• Assist with tPA, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and ortho care
• Administer ordered treatments and medications
• Document care in the charting system

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Two years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency assessment and rapid response skills
