Travel ED RN in Tomball, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency room on a 13-week contract in Tomball, Texas. The unit has 24 beds, 1:4 ratios, Meditech charting, and serves adult and pediatric patients in a Level III trauma center with chest pain and stroke designations.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Initiate IV access and collect blood specimens
• Administer medications and blood products per protocol
• Support adult and pediatric resuscitation efforts
• Assist with intubation, splinting, and moderate sedation
• Care for behavioral health patients and apply restraints as needed

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS or ENPC certification

• TNCC certification
• ATCN or CEN certification
