Travel ED RN in Cypress, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Cypress, Texas. The 19-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typically staffs 4:1 to 5:1 ratios.

• Assess and triage emergency patients on arrival
• Monitor and stabilize patients with urgent and high-acuity needs
• Administer emergency medications and treatments
• Assist with STEMI, thrombolytic, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Collaborate with charge, triage, and bedside staff during patient flow
• Document care in the electronic medical record

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• Two years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• STEMI and thrombolytic care
• Laceration repair
• Orthopedic care
