Travel ED RN in Georgetown, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department in Georgetown, Texas, on a 13-week contract. The 23-bed unit uses Meditech and typically runs 4:1 ratios in a primary stroke center and Level IV trauma center.

• Assess and triage patients with changing acuity
• Monitor vital signs and respond to urgent clinical changes
• Administer medications and emergency treatments as ordered
• Assist with cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation
• Collaborate with providers, paramedics, and support staff
• Document care clearly in Meditech and give accurate handoff reports

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ENPC certification
