Travel ED RN in Mcallen, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a free standing emergency department on a 13-week contract in McAllen, Texas. The 12-bed unit uses Meditech charting, works with 1:4 patient ratios, and supports stroke care.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Triage incoming patients and update the care team
• Start IV access, administer medications, and monitor response
• Assist with stroke care and moderate sedation
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with providers and support patient flow

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• 1+ year of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
