Travel ED RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a pediatric freestanding emergency room on a 13-week contract in Kingwood, Texas. The 9-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse and typical assignments are 4:1 by acuity, with 1:1 as needed. Staff support onsite testing, emergency assessment, and treatment in a small, fast-paced setting.

• Triage pediatric emergency patients by acuity
• Start IV access and support medication delivery
• Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac monitoring
• Collect and process onsite labs and swabs
• Assist with foley catheter placement and moderate sedation
• Document care in Meditech Expanse

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS
• IV, EKG, and triage acuity skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
