Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32 beds, uses Meditech, and cares for high-acuity patients with a 4:1 ratio.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
• Assist with lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, and splinting
• Support laceration repair and suture removal
• Document care and coordinate with the emergency team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course and Trauma Nursing Core Course by start date
• NIH Stroke Scale training
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
