Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department in Austin, Texas on a 13 week contract. The unit has 32+ beds, uses Meditech charting, and maintains a 1:4 patient ratio.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Assist with lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the care team
• Support discharge teaching and patient flow

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course by start date
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course by start date

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
