Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a free-standing emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 11 beds and uses Meditech. Care is delivered in a small, team-based setting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IV access and support 12-lead EKG collection
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and emergency team
• Document care in the electronic medical record
• Prepare patients for transfer or discharge

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Less than 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Registered Nurse education from an accredited program
