Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit includes fast track and behavioral health care areas, with 1:4 emergency ratios and MEDITECH charting.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac and trauma patients
• Support splinting, EKGs, and central monitoring
• Assist with central lines, airway support, and resuscitation
• Provide behavioral health de-escalation and safe care
• Collaborate with charge staff and ancillary team members

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency department assessment and prioritization skills

• MEDITECH experience
• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI
