Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent and emergency care in a busy hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit includes fast track, behavioral health, and central monitoring areas for cardiac, trauma, and acute patients.

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with varied acuity
• Assist with splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, and airway support
• Support trauma care, central line care, and resuscitation efforts
• Provide behavioral health de-escalation and patient safety support
• Use rapid infusers and emergency equipment as needed

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Clinical skills in emergency department care

• Meditech experience
• Trauma experience
• Holding inpatient experience
• CPI training
