Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses MEDITECH and includes private rooms, fast track, and behavioral health areas. Ratios are 1:4 in ED and 1:5 in behavioral health.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and rapid interventions
• Assist with splinting, EKGs, central lines, airway support, and resuscitation
• Support trauma and behavioral health care
• Monitor patients with central monitoring
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe flow

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Emergency department nursing skills

• MEDITECH experience
• Trauma experience
• Holding inpatient experience
• CPI
