Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit serves ED, behavioral health and trauma patients and uses MEDITECH charting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Initiate stabilization measures for trauma and resuscitation
• Support splinting, EKGs and central monitoring
• Manage central lines and rapid infusers
• Provide airway support and medication therapy
• Document care and coordinate with the team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ENPC, TNCC and NIHSS
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program

• MEDITECH experience
• Trauma experience
• Crisis Prevention Intervention training
• Inpatient holding experience
