Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and typically works with a 4:1 patient ratio. The role supports varied emergency procedures.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Monitor and stabilize patients across changing acuity
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Assist with lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Document care in Meditech and communicate updates to the care team
• Support urgent interventions and coordinate patient flow

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS, and ENPC by start date
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
