Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a free standing emergency department during a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses Meditech for charting and supports point-of-care testing and ventilator care.

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages
• Triage arrivals and prioritize treatment needs
• Initiate IV access and assist with 12-lead EKGs
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Document assessments, care, and patient responses in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Less than 2 years of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
