Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 13-week contract at a hospital in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32 beds, a 4:1 patient ratio, and uses Meditech charting. The role supports rapid assessment and treatment in a busy emergency setting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor condition changes and respond quickly
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Assist with airway management, intubations, and resuscitation
• Support lumbar punctures, wound repair, splinting, and suture removal
• Document care and coordinate with the team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC by start date
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
