Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and treats behavioral health, cardiac and trauma patients.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac, trauma and behavioral health patients
• Assist with splinting, EKGs and central lines
• Support airway care, resuscitation and rapid infuser use
• Provide central monitoring and ongoing clinical care
• De-escalate behavioral health crises and promote safety

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC and NIHSS

• Meditech experience
• Trauma experience
• Holding inpatient experience
• CPI training
