Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 48 beds, a 4:1 ratio, and uses Meditech charting.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients
• Assess, monitor, and reassess patient condition
• Administer medications and start IV therapy
• Coordinate care with providers and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Support stabilization, transfer, and discharge workflows

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• TNCC, ALS, or ENPC certification
• CEN or PEN certification
