Travel ED RN in Tomball, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide acute care and assessment in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Tomball, Texas. The unit has 24 beds, uses Meditech, and treats adult and pediatric patients in a Level III trauma center with chest pain and stroke designations.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in triage and resuscitation areas
• Initiate IV access, collect blood, and administer medications and blood products
• Provide resuscitation support for adult and pediatric emergencies
• Assist with intubation, splinting, and moderate sedation
• Support care for behavioral health patients and apply restraints as needed
• Monitor patients with bedside equipment and document care accurately

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
• Emergency department assessment and resuscitation skills
• Ability to care for adult and pediatric emergency patients

• TNCC
• ATCN
• CEN certification
