Travel ED RN in Cypress, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cypress, Texas. The unit has 19 beds, uses Meditech charting, and staffs 4:1 or 5:1 ratios.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Stabilize patients during acute changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Assist with tPA, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Collaborate with charge nurses, triage staff, and providers
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC
• Emergency nursing assessment, triage, and stabilization skills
• Critical thinking and calm decision-making under pressure
