Travel ED RN in Cypress, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Cypress, Texas. The unit has 19 beds, patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5, and uses Meditech charting with Philips equipment.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Assess emergency patients and start treatment
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Assist with tPA, STEMI, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Document care and communicate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC
• Emergency assessment, triage, and acute care skills
