Travel ED RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Denton, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and serves a Level II trauma and Magnet-designated hospital with Primary Stroke Center certification.

• Triage patients and prioritize care in the emergency unit
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Initiate IV access, collect specimens, and support diagnostic testing
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Assist with trauma, stroke, and other emergency response situations
• Document care in Meditech and collaborate with the care team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Meditech experience
• Experience in a large acute care hospital setting
