Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32 beds, a 4:1 patient ratio, and Meditech charting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Administer medications and monitor treatment response
• Support airway management, laceration repair, splinting, and other emergency procedures
• Initiate IV access, collect specimens, and prepare patients for diagnostic testing
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with the care team and anticipate unit needs

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications by start date
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
