Travel ED RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency department on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32+ beds, uses Meditech, and serves a 4:1 patient ratio. The team values strong collaboration in a busy emergency setting.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Assist with lumbar puncture, intubation, thrombolytic therapy, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate timely treatment

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC by start date

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
• Strong teamwork and anticipation of patient needs
