Travel ED RN in Lonetree, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13 week contract in Lone Tree, Colorado. It serves a high-volume patient mix with 4:1 ratios, Meditech charting, and Level II trauma, chest pain center, and thrombectomy capable stroke center capabilities. The unit uses ALTO pain management therapies.

• Triage and stabilize emergency patients
• Monitor high-acuity and psych and at-risk patients
• Assist with trauma, chest pain, stroke, and procedural sedation care
• Coordinate care with EMTs, medics, and the charge nurse
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
• Minimum 1 year current acute care emergency department hospital experience

• CEN certification
• Meditech experience
• High-volume emergency department experience
