Travel ED RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 12 beds, a 4:1 patient ratio, and uses Meditech for charting. Care includes EKGs, vital signs, assessments, respiratory treatments, splinting, and wound care.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support EKGs, lab collection, and bedside assessments
• Provide respiratory treatments and assist with critical patient care
• Assist with splinting, wound care, and other emergency interventions
• Document care accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and paramedics on the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Emergency Department experience
• Meditech experience
