Travel ED RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 13 beds, a fast track area for low-acuity patients, and Meditech charting.

• Triage patients and prioritize emergency care
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Support splinting and other emergency interventions
• Assist with low-acuity fast track patient care
• Monitor vital signs, ECGs, glucose levels, and transport readiness
• Prepare and support rapid transfusion procedures

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Emergency department experience
• TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Ultrasound-guided IV access
