Travel ED RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The 9-bed unit uses Meditech, has 17 staff, and commonly works with a 4:1 patient ratio.

• Triage patients using ESI
• Assess emergency and critical patients
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Start IV access and obtain EKGs
• Support cardiac monitoring and moderate sedation
• Assist with trauma and emergency stabilization

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Emergency department triage and ESI experience
• Emergency assessment and medication administration skills
• Critical patient management and fast prioritization
