Travel ED RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 8 beds, uses Meditech, and serves patients with a 1:4 ratio.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency setting
• Start IVs and collect bloodwork
• Assist with Foley catheter placement and breathing treatments
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Support the charge nurse and team in daily unit flow
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications
• At least 2 years of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Meditech experience
• Freestanding emergency department experience
