Travel ED RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a free-standing emergency room for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 50 monitored beds, an 8-bed rapid treatment area, Meditech charting, GE cardiac monitoring, and a 4:1 patient ratio.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor cardiac and rapid treatment area patients
• Administer ordered medications and nursing treatments
• Assist with emergency procedures and stabilization
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• TNCC certification
• ENPC certification
• Previous emergency department experience in a similar acute care setting
