Travel ED RN in Arlington, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Virginia. The unit has 36 beds, treats patients from neonate to geriatric, and uses Epic. It is a Magnet-designated level II trauma center with comprehensive stroke care.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess and stabilize patients across the lifespan
• Monitor dysrhythmias and procedural sedation
• Support ventilator management and central line care
• Start and maintain IV access
• Administer IV therapies and vasopressors

• Active Virginia or compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• 3 years of emergency department experience
• Emergency nursing skills in triage, dysrhythmia care, procedural sedation, IV access, ventilated patient care, and central line management

• TNCC
• Epic charting experience
