Travel ED RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, and chest pain center. It uses Epic charting in a 71-bed emergency department.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Provide direct nursing care for trauma, stroke, chest pain, and other urgent cases
• Administer medications and treatments per care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services
• Document care and updates in Epic
• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending allowed
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Epic charting system experience
