Travel ED RN in Reston, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech charting and supports a busy emergency patient mix with cardiac monitoring and point-of-care testing. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor emergency patients
• Start IV access and support medication delivery
• Assist with stroke, sepsis, and trauma protocols
• Support moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring
• Document care in the electronic record

• Active compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• 2 years of hospital emergency department experience
• Emergency department triage and IV initiation skills

• TNCC certification
• CEN certification
