Travel ED RN in Newton, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Newton, Iowa. The unit serves high-acuity patients and uses a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assist with trauma and stroke care
• Coordinate care with the emergency team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department nursing experience
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency care skills
