About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for emergency department and medical-surgical patients in a hospital in Dyersville, Iowa on a 13-week contract. The unit serves both med-surg and ED patients in a critical access setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and prioritize care needs
  • Monitor changes in condition and respond to urgent situations
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
  • Support admissions, transfers and discharge planning

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Iowa
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • TNCC certification
  • NIHSS certification
