Travel ED RN in Dyersville, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a critical access hospital emergency department and med surg unit on a 13-week contract in Dyersville, Iowa. The role supports both emergency and med surg needs in a small hospital setting.

• Assess patients and prioritize care across emergency and med surg needs
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms and response to treatment
• Administer medications and start ordered therapies
• Support triage, stabilization and transfers as needed
• Coordinate care with providers and other team members
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Reinforce patient and family education before discharge

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
