Travel ED RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an emergency room at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa.

• Assess patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Triage and prioritize care by acuity
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Assist with trauma, pediatric, and stroke care
• Monitor vital signs and treatment response
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge teaching

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and NIHSS credentials
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department assessment and critical thinking skills
• Safe medication administration skills
