Travel ED RN in DeWitt, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in the emergency department on a 13-week contract in DeWitt, Iowa. The unit serves patients with urgent and high-acuity needs.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Perform focused assessments and monitor condition changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies and oxygen support
• Coordinate treatment with physicians and nurses
• Support stabilization and emergency interventions
• Document care and patient response
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course and NIH Stroke Scale
• Emergency department nursing skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
