Per Diem ED RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an emergency department in Los Angeles, California. The role uses Allscripts EMD charting and will transition to EPIC.

• Perform initial assessments and triage patients
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in acuity
• Administer medications and treatments per orders
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Assist with emergency stabilization and bedside procedures

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and PALS certification
• EPIC experience
• MAB or CPI course with 4-8 contact hours and an in-person component
