Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The unit has 38 beds with main, rapid, and psych-safe areas and uses Meditech. It supports complex emergency care with advanced monitoring and stabilization needs.

• Triage and prioritize emergency department patients
• Monitor and stabilize patients with urgent or critical needs
• Support chest tube, port placement, and other bedside procedures
• Manage ventilatory and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Coordinate care during high-acuity situations and patient de-escalation

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Prioritization and time management skills
• De-escalation course
